Opening to the public tomorrow, the Shanghai Motorshow will play host to several motor industry exclusives over the course of its seven-day duration.
Volvo is set to unveil the most luxurious vehicle ever built by the Swedish company in its 88 year history; a four-seat version of its recently launched XC90. The ‘XC90 Excellence’ is based on Volvo’s all new XC90 sports utility vehicle, but whereas the original vehicle is a seven-seater, the XC90 Excellence has just four seats, creating additional space for rear seat passengers.
McLaren will launch its second model in the new Sports Series, the McLaren 540C Coupé, which McLaren claim is, ‘The most attainable McLaren yet’. The 540C Coupé joins the recently revealed 570S Coupé in the Sports Series, bringing the number of new McLarens launched in 2015 to four as the brand continues its rapid growth. Globally available, and priced from £126,000, the 540C Coupé can be pre-ordered now with deliveries scheduled for early 2016.
Citroën will stage the world premiere of its new concept car, the Citroën Aircross, and the Shanghai show will also mark the start of sales for the Citroën C4 Picasso in China.
